Here’s a photo of some non fire rated down lights on the left and the new fire rated down fittings that we installed following an electrical safety check in Darlington.
This is something we see so often when carrying out EICRs, non fire rated down lights with habitable rooms above. This is classed as a c2 which is a fail on an electrical report.
