Demand Electrical are a local business based in Darlington working for letting agents, landlords and homeowners. 

We offer various services from testing to full rewires, we are a small team who pride ourselves on 1st class customer service. 

All work come with a 12 month guarantee and some parts such as down lights which often come with a warranty anywhere up to 5 years.

We have insurance above industry standard norm and hold a fully approved license with Napit. 

As the regulations have changed across England regarding electrical safety checks, each landlord must have a satisfactory certificate carried out every 5 years unless stated sooner from the previous contractor due to the condition of the installation. 

Every installation will deteriorate with age, the condition can only be determined by carrying out an EICR. The longer a property hasn’t been tested for the greater chance that it doesn’t meet current regulations. 
 

Fuse box replacements 

At Demand Electrical we only fit RCBO fuse boxes as appose to dual RCDs, there is a slight difference in price however we feel the benefits are justified. 

There are two main benefits of using an RCBO fuse board, one being to reduce the risk of nuisance tripping. This can happen when multiple appliances are in use across various circuits protected by one RCD, causing it to operate due to excessive earth leakage
